If you’re on the fence about building an active social media presence, consider this.  A quarter of Americans’ time online is spent with social media and blogs.  When people try to learn more about a product or company, over half use the company’s social media pages to find out about them.  And nearly half of those have responded to a company’s offer through Twitter or Facebook.  All these trends suggest that your social media presence is becoming as important as your website in providing a way for new prospects to learn about you.  How does this change your approach to social media?
