Marketing on Wheels

One often-overlooked marketing vehicle is – well, a vehicle.  Technology has made it affordable to “wrap” a vehicle in eye-catching graphics featuring your company name or product.  So here are two ideas.  If you have company-owned vehicles, consider a plan to wrap them so that they sell your brand everywhere they go (and even where they park).  If your business doesn’t own vehicles, think about this: buy an economical new vehicle, wrap it with your message, then lease it to a dependable employee for $250 a month.  The staff person gets a cheap new ride; you get an inexpensive traveling billboard.  Companies in Austria and Paris are taking it a step further, selling the rights to “wrap” a vehicle, then leasing those cars to consumers for a fraction of the normal cost.
