The $3 Customer.

True story.  Guy walks into a bank.  Has all his business accounts there.  All his personal accounts, too.  High income, high net worth.  Been there for years.  Asks about a $3 charge on one of his accounts.  He’s told that it dipped below the minimum for a couple days.  Says okay – won’t happen again.  Can you waive the charge?  Banker says no.  Incredulous, our guy asks again.  Same answer.  Moves every account and loan to a competitor.  Question: why would a bank spend so much time and energy to find customers just like him — then let him walk away over $3?  Would you?  Are you?  Better check.
