The Power of Less.

Ask most adults about a President’s inaugural address, and probably the only one they’ll recall is John Kennedy’s, from “Ask not what your country can do for you…” to “the torch has been passed to a new generation…” So consider this. The average inaugural address is 2,300 words. JFK’s was just 1,355 words, or a little over half as long as most. Whether it’s a sales pitch or a seminar, a motivational talk or some other presentation, continually ask how you can make it shorter. You’ll probably be making it more memorable.
