Which Page Is This?

There are literally thousands of things you can do to help search engines find your website, but one basic step is to look at the way you name and tag pages within the site.  For example, there’s no reason to name your home page “Home,” since that’s a nearly useless search term for most businesses.  Your home page title should include your critical search terms or keywords.  And remember that, since the content on every page is different, those page titles and the metatags on those pages should be different, too.  If you depend on people finding your website to drive at least some of your business, those two little things can add up to a lot of “hits.”
